Last weekend (4th & 5th Oct), 28 pupils from year 11 completed their Bronze DofE expedition in the Forest of Dean.
After arriving on Saturday
morning the early morning rain storms soon cleared and we were treated to a beautiful sunny
weekend.
Pupils departed from their
starting destinations feeling excited and arrived into camp in the Biblins at
around 17:00 Saturday night. All pupils were tired but feeling good and some
hot meals and a camp fire soon lifted their spirits.
The four groups left the Biblins
at around 09:00 on Sunday morning and safely made it to the final checkpoint; Kern
Bridge at around 14:30.
It was another incredibly successful weekend. Well done to all involved!
