Bell-boating 2015

This weekend (Sat 27^th June) was the annual bell-boating regatta, held at Pershore, on the river Avon.
12 young people from year 7 and 18 parents went to represent THOA. The event also included a team from Tenbury Primary School.

The day was a huge success with the sun shining and everyone having a great time, including the parents.

The year 7s came 4th overall and the 2 teams of parents came 4th and 7th.

New PE Kit

We are pleased to announce that our brand new PE kit has been confirmed and is now ready from September for the new year 7 cohort and any other pupils (year 8-11) who want it.

 

Below is a picture of the male and female versions. I’m sure you will all agree that it looks absolutely fantastic.

 

 

The kit above includes a polo top, shorts (boys), skorts (girls) and  rugby top.
Also available is a hoody and rain jacket.

England vs New Zealand ODI at Edgbaston

On Tuesday 9^th June we took 14 pupils from years 7-11 to the one day international at Edgbaston between England and New Zealand.

It was a brilliant game, which was full of action. England scored their highest ever one day total and one of our batsmen scored the second fastest ODI century in English history.

The York rematch

Last weekend (5th-7th June) it was our turn to host the York manor school for their return tour to Tenbury.

On Saturday morning our year 8 teams challenged them to a football (boys) and rounders (girls) match.

The boys and girls both ended up coming second against a very good York outfit.
