After our York tour back in March it was our turn to host the Manor
Academy for the weekend.
The last game ended 3-2 to York so it was our chance
to level the result.
The game was fairly even throughout with both teams creating some decent
chances but it was York who took the lead when a cross into the box was not
dealt with.
After half time THOA began to play some neat football and Adam Staples
fired a cross into the box for Harrison Davies to control, setting up Alex
Cridland who curled the ball into the top left half corner to level the score.
The game was looking like it was going to finish a draw but in the last
few seconds Luke Bufton played a delightful through ball into the path of Matty
O’Hagan who slipped it under the oncoming keeper to take the lead and the
victory.
Well done to every single player who played in the game. A great game to
watch!
