Inclusion Festival
Last week's inclusion festival was a huge success with Tenbury, Chantry and The Chase high schools taking part.
The festival took place on Monday 11th November with 5 of our young leaders from year 9 assisting. (picture below)
The festival included games of boccia and new age kurling and focused on young children being introduced to a new activity whilst having lots of fun. With these aims in mind and help from the young leaders, all competitors had a great time.
The event organiser, Graham Abercrombie had this to say about the event, "Thank you for your support at the Inclusive festival on Monday evening. I thought it was brilliant and it was clear to see all the students having a great time! All of the students were a huge credit to themselves and your school."
2 teams of 3 pupils from each of the schools will be selected and entered into the competitive games. (venue and date TBC)
Below are some pictures from the festival.
