Year 9 Basketball vs Bishops

The Year 9's played Bishops at THS on Friday 7th February. After losing to Leominster earlier in the week, they really wanted to continue their progress from the last two games. Rory Huntbach was back in the team and shared the ball handling duties with Tom Ferguson.

Right from the tip off Tenbury took the lead and looked the more dangerous team in every area of the court. The players were looking to drive into the key and really attacked the Bishops defence. Jake Lambert, Adam Robinson and Alfie Watts looked lively in defence and really pressurised the Bishops players.

Tenbury for the duration of the game played some excellent basketball and their link up play around the key was by far the best they have produced. Alfie Watts and Kit Garbutt also worked well in both offence and defence, with Watts sinking a 3 pointer during the 3rd quarter.

Charlie Ward and Connor Lewis also played their part in and around the key. The whole teams movement, during offence, was really good to watch and they fully deserved the win.

The final score was 38-18!

Well Done to all the players!
