This
year THS took on the challenge of putting every pupil in the school through
their paces by signing them up to a Sports Relief Challenge!!
Each
school house was invited to come to the sports hall during guidance time to do
their bit to raise money for Sports Relief in activities such as indoor golf,
hula hooping, balance activities, boccia and indoor curling.
Many
of you took on the Sports Relief Mile challenge in one of your PE lessons
and did 'something funny for money.' Some of the highlights were Max
Gunther on his unicycle, Shannon Flynn padded up to complete her mile on her
hands and knees, Elie Ferguson and Lucy Watts wearing flippers and Anna Bemand
and Ella Davies three legged in matching onesies!
We
managed to raise approximately £500. Thank you to all those who participated
and fundraised. There are some very generous family and friends out there -
well done!
