Paralympian Archery Coach helps out at THS

This week THS were lucky enough to have paralympian archer, Kay Lucas come and visit; providing our archers with some free coaching tips.

EUROPEAN archery champion Kay Lucas represented GB at the Beijing Paralympics in 2008, finishing ninth.
In 2010, the former Long Mynd Archer struck gold in the women’s recurve at the European Championships in France. And, at the World Championship in Turin 2011, she achieved her first Grand Master Bowman score.
Kay took up archery in 1989, following a car accident and in 2006, Kay won two bronze medals at the European Championships in the Czech Republic. She also took a team silver at the Korean World Championships in 2007.
