Well done to this
year’s Year 11 basketballers for beating Hereford Academy in the final of the
Herefordshire league.
What a game it
was. Having spent the whole game behind they decided to wait till the 4th
quarter to get going. With 10 minutes on the clock Tenbury were 5 points
behind; Rory found himself shooting from the line and sinking the one basket to
make it a 4 point game. Tenbury then went on to score 4 straight baskets giving
them the 24-20 win.
They will now go
on to represent Herefordshire in the West Midlands competition.
