Yesterday, we went
on our annual trip to watch the British basketball league final at The
Barclaycard Arena in Birmingham. 12 pupils went to watch last year’s winners,
the Newcastle Eagles, take on Leicester Riders.
The Eagles
eventually won, fighting back in the final quarter, after trailing most of the
game. The final score was 94-82.
The woman’s game
before resulted in the Sheffield Hatters dominating the Barking Abbey 79-45.
One of the
highlights of the game was Mr Taylor winning the raffle and spending part of
the 2nd half courtside. He even got to step on court to claim his
prize in front of 9,000 fans. Check MrMorris’s twitter feed on the right to see
