From Tuesday 15th – Friday
18th July, we took 39 pupils from year 9, on our 56th annual camp to
Penybont. The camping was a truly rewarding
experience for so many of the pupils who took part.
Some of the many activities they
took part in, included: walking, kayaking, swimming, fire lighting, frisbee,
water slide fun, water bomb war and camp fire activities such as: the ‘Llandod
express’, and the ‘Lancaster Bomber’.
The camp was an opportunity for
pupils to experience some of the scenarios and skills required to complete the
Duke of Edinburgh expedition.
