2017 Presentation evening awards

Well done to all pupils who received awards on Thursday night (15th June)  for hardwork, effort and excellent contributions to their subject.

Our department would like to say a massive well done to the following pupils for receiving awards for PE this year.

 Hebe Garbutt was awarded the Joyce Rolfe Sports' Personality of the Year Award.

Adam Lewis received the award for Outstanding Achievement in Boys' PE

  Aleksandra Kramarz received the award for Outstanding Effort in Girls' PE

  Jodie Hanford received the award for Outstanding Achievement in Girls' PE

Allan Watkins won the Richard Smith Rugby Trophy for Most Improved Player of the Year  

Lewis Palmer for Outstanding Effort in Boys' PE

School Games Silver Award 2014/15

We are extremely pleased to announce that following a formal bid to the Youth Sport trust we have been awarded the school games silver award for 2014-15.

For such a small school this is a great achievement and recognises the hard work the team, in the PE department, put into curriculum PE, extra-curricular and competition opportunities. This also recognises the breadth of activities offered in school for inclusion sport, the Worcestershire School Games and in school generally.

Basketball Award for Year 11 Pupil



Year 11 pupil Scott Thomas has won ‘The Most Valuable’ player award for the Worcester Wolves under 16’s basketball academy. He was awarded this prestigious award for his extraordinary contribution through the 2013/14 season, leading his team to 7^th in the midland division. He was presented this award last night (10^th May 2013) at Worcester Wolves annual presentation evening despite missing 6 games due to injury.
